AgroSfer is bringing digital innovation directly to Benin’s fields. Through a central platform, smallholder farmers gain access to practical knowledge, reliable data, and essential agricultural inputs. The result: more resilient rural communities, climate-friendly farming practices, and a meaningful contribution to local food security. The story behind the startup and the vision that drives it is shared in an interview with founder Francis Dossou Sognon.

AgroSfer’s growth has been supported by funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the EU as part of the Team Europe Initiative Digital and Green Innovation. Selected for the “Digital and Green Innovation Acceleration Program,” the startup participated in trainings, conferences, and investor networking events to expand its expertise and increase its reach.
