Crustea is an Indonesian aquaculture technology company developing precision solutions for pond farmers. Its flagship Eco-Aerator technology optimises dissolved oxygen levels in ponds — a key determinant of fish and shrimp survival and growth — while integrated digital tools give farmers real-time data to manage their operations more efficiently. The result is lower operational costs, higher yields, and a reduced environmental footprint.
As a selected start-up in the Digital and Green Innovation Acceleration Program DGIx Indonesia, Crustea worked together with two other startups in the Aquaculture Innovation Cluster. Together, they took part in targeted trainings, conferences, and networking events with investors.
With support from BMZ and the EU under the Team Europe Action Digital and Green Innovation, Crustea and the Aquaculture Innovation Cluster continued to develop their digital solution.
