The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global non-profit service company for international cooperation. It operates as a private-sector company of the federal government with the development goal of improving the living conditions of people around the world and preserving the natural foundations of life.
When using the contact form, the title, surname, first name, institution and email address are processed. Processing takes place based on Art. 6(1) b) EU GDPR for the purpose of receiving the enquiry formulated in the contact form. The data is not transmitted to third parties. Transmission to GIZ always takes place with an SSL-encrypted connection, which makes it much more difficult for unauthorised parties to access this information. Just like any enquiries emailed to GIZ, enquiries sent via the contact form are erased after a retention period of six months (or after the enquiry has been finalised).
The personal data collected as part of the newsletter mailing list are used for processing purposes. Your data is not forwarded to third parties. Your data is not processed or used for the purposes of consultation, advertising and market research. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, all personal data is erased from our database. The newsletter is created by the GIZ’s sector programme “Digitalisation for Sustainable Development”.
